- Bramalea City Centre receives BOMA BESt 4!!!!
BOMA BESt, (Building Environmental Standards), is BOMA Canada's environmental certification program that sets best practice standards for energy and environmental performance of existing buildings utilizing independent data audits and educational assessment tools.
We are pleased to announce that Bramalea City Centre has received BOMA BESt Level 4 Certification!
BOMA BESt Level 4 Certification demonstrates thatBramalea City Centre has met all of BOMA's best practices and has achieved 90-100% on BOMA's Go Green Plus assessment. Best practices include an energy audit, a water audit, a recycling program, policies and programs for the management of ozone depleting substances and other hazardous materials, and tenant communication. This is the highest level of certification that can be acquired and demonstrates the fact that the Morguard and the tenants of Bramalea City Centre have made a persistent and continual commitment to operate and manage their centre in an environmentally friendly manner through waste reduction, energy efficiency, reduced water consumption and a healthier environment.
